• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients at the Togus Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in accordance with VA policies and standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, critical thinking, and medication administration.
• Manage IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to assistive personnel.
• Document care and treatment accurately in the VA’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of VA-mandated training, including security protocols and compliance certifications.

• A minimum of one (1) year of current CRNA experience.
• Demonstrated competency in patient care, assessments, and clinical procedures as outlined above.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist must be Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Full, current, and unrestricted RN license in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
• ACLS/BLS certifications
• Competence in critical nursing functions, including patient transport, emergency response procedures, and interdisciplinary coordination.

• Prior experience working within the VA healthcare system.
• Experience in implementing and adhering to VA-specific policies and procedures.
• Expertise in Anesthetics and Emergency Department nursing.
