Manager/Supervisor

The Interoperability Solution Advisor supports the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program by providing Oracle Health Interoperability solution expertise, technical guidance, and functional support to VA solution experts. This role focuses on translating Oracle interoperability capabilities into VA-aligned workflows, supporting configuration and design activities, and ensuring effective collaboration across VA, Oracle Health, and site stakeholders in a complex federal health IT environment. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a Solution Advisor providing Oracle Health Interoperability expertise in support of the VA EHRM program
• Translate Oracle Health interoperability capabilities and nomenclature to support VA solution experts and stakeholders
• Analyze interoperability workflows and requirements, identifying risks, gaps, and pain points across systems and sites
• Support build, design, and workflow enhancements for interoperability solutions including Seamless Exchange, Joint Health Information Exchange, and Joint Legacy Viewer
• Apply and support configuration changes using Oracle Health tools such as Core Code Builder, Clinical Content Manager, Bedrock, Event Set Hierarchy, and Discern Visual Developer
• Facilitate collaboration and communication between VHA, Oracle Health, and local deployment sites
• Assist with management, escalation, and resolution of trouble tickets and change requests related to interoperability solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise on data ingestion, data migration, and interoperability reporting and mapping
• Coordinate and monitor Oracle Health activities to support scope, schedule, and delivery timelines
• Support informaticists and solution experts with documentation, strategic planning, and translation of functional requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Experience independently designing and developing healthcare or clinical software solutions or major system enhancements
• Demonstrated expertise in systems integration, interoperability, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multi-platform environments
• Experience serving as a technical lead responsible for project completion and delivery
• Ability to perform feasibility analyses and provide recommendations for future initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
o Additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Experience implementing or supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Experience working with Oracle Health interoperability solutions in large-scale healthcare environments

Compensation:
$120,000-$125,000
