Job Summary:

Provide the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) with change management (CM) project management support from pre-deployment through sustainment phases of the new electronic health record implementation. Leverage CM Prosci certification to apply CM expertise to support VA in oversight of vendor CM requirements and execution at VA medical centers and affiliated sites. Collaborate closely with end-user engagement and adoption (EUEA) program management, CM, training, end-user engagement and integrated analytics teams to track EUEA schedule impacts and reduce risks or issues related to readiness and adoption. Develop and implement CM project management plans, escalate and manage CM-related risks and issues. Conduct CM deliverable reviews based on vendor PWS requirements. Develop briefings, meeting materials and artifacts to support CM operational discussions and recommendations. Collaborate closely with EHRM-IO, VHA and vendor CM stakeholders to progress CM projects and initiatives.

Minimum qualifications:

•       Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

•       Experience developing and implementing change management plans; experience analyzing effectiveness of change management activities

•       Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analysis, data gathering and organization skills

•       Experience managing Information Technology related projects

•       Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies  

•       Experience in tracking, schedule and performance progress

•       Able to identify and mitigate risks

•       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline

Preferred qualifications:

•       Prosci Change Management Certification

•       Experience in the VA

•      Experience using and/or implementing electronic health records

Compensation:    

  • Full-Time Direct Hire   
  • Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
