Oracle Health Solution Advisor - Social Work/Behavioral Health
Emerging Tech is seeking a Solution Advisor with expertise in Social Work and Behavioral Health to support the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. You will provide Cerner solution expertise, guide VA solution experts, and ensure successful workflow, testing, and implementation of EHRM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Cerner expertise and knowledge transfer sessions to National/VISN Councils, local workshops, and VA solution experts.
Translate Cerner capabilities and terminology for VA stakeholders; bring solution experts up to speed in their areas.
Review task orders and deliverables with Solution Management Administrators (SMAs) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Support current state workflow analysis and assist in future state workflow design and diagramming.
Identify risks and pain points; assist in mitigation planning.
Manage, escalate, and resolve trouble tickets and change requests.
Assist with reporting, requirements mapping, and EHRM testing script development; support all EHRM testing events.
Collaborate with Oracle Health and VA on build/design/workflow changes.
Review training materials, support cutover/go-live planning, and provide post-go-live support.
Contribute to workplan development and provide recommendations for optimization and effective change.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience designing or enhancing software in healthcare/clinical environments.
Independent technical expert addressing system integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multi-platform challenges.
Responsible for project completion and feasibility analysis for potential projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field; or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
VA experience or experience implementing electronic health records (EHRs).
Millennium (Cerner) experience, code levels 2018 or higher; understanding of Cerner Model recommendations.
Skilled in current/future state workflow analysis, functional validation, and end-user testing for Cerner or integrated third-party solutions.
Experience identifying and mitigating risks; root cause analysis and incident resolution.
ServiceNow experience: customizing reports, evaluating and escalating tickets, collaborating with stakeholders.
Strong leadership, communication, analysis, organization, and data-gathering skills.
Experience facilitating reviews, evaluating stakeholder impact, and collaborating with Solution Experts to recommend optimization and effective change.
