Position Overview

Emerging Tech is seeking a Change Management Project Manager to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

This role supports the End-User Engagement and Adoption (EUEA) Change Management (CM) team by overseeing and executing project activities, deliverables, and program operations. The ideal candidate has experience supporting large-scale IT or healthcare transformation programs and brings strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and change management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the EUEA Change Management team in execution of program activities, events, and deliverables
Track site activities, action items, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
Manage and monitor project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
Develop and maintain change management artifacts including decks, briefs, agendas, meeting minutes, and talking points
Analyze change management content to identify key insights, risks, and follow-up actions
Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress of CM initiatives
Proactively manage project execution to maintain schedule, quality, and performance targets
Support program reporting and executive-level briefings

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of professional work experience
Experience managing IT-related projects
Strong understanding of project lifecycle and project management methodologies
Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance metrics
Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related discipline
- OR additional 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Experience supporting Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) or similar healthcare IT programs
Experience in change management, user adoption, or communications within large-scale IT transformations
Familiarity with change management frameworks and stakeholder engagement strategies

Work Location

100% Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)

Compensation

Salary range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually
