Emerging Tech is hiring an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide on-site diagnostic imaging services at the VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Eureka, CA. This role supports a mission-driven healthcare environment focused on delivering timely, accurate imaging services to Veterans.

You’ll work under the direction of VA Radiologists and clinical leadership, performing routine diagnostic imaging in an outpatient setting while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) exams in accordance with VA policies, ARRT standards, and Joint Commission requirements.
Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safe, accurate, and comfortable exams.
Operate imaging equipment following manufacturer guidelines and VA-approved protocols.
Ensure radiation safety, infection control, and proper use of protective equipment.
Review images for quality and completeness prior to Radiologist interpretation.
Document exams and patient information in VA electronic health records and PACS systems.
Maintain clean, organized, and fully functional imaging rooms and equipment.
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Communicate urgent or abnormal findings to Radiologists per VA protocol.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
Current ARRT certification.
Active, full, and unrestricted California Radiologic Technologist license.
Minimum 3 years of experience performing independent radiographic procedures in a clinical setting.
Experience working with PACS, DICOM, and electronic medical record systems.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards.
Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
Ability to meet all VA credentialing, background, privacy, and annual training requirements.

Additional Requirements

Qualifications subject to VA Chief Radiology Administrator review and approval.
Must comply with all VA radiology standards, safety policies, and infection control procedures.
Maintain required CME/CEU credits to keep certifications current.

Pay Rate: $50–$55 per hour, based on experience
